Public Hearing re Town Budget on 5/20/15

A Public hearing will be held on Wednesday 5-20-15 at 7 PM in the Clinton Town Hall to present the 2015-2016 proposed Clinton Town and Education Budgets.

The Board of Finance reduced the Town Budget by $ 167,000 to $ 16,585,237 the Education Budget by $ 330,000 to $32,710,331. The total revised Proposed Budget is $ 49,295,568, a $ 497,000 reduction.

The proposed Budget represents a $ 886,558 increase over the 2014-2015 Budget. I have not calculated the amount to raised by taxes or the % increase in the amount raised by taxes since more information is needed.

The Budget Referendum will be held on 5-27-015 your vote is important.
