Budget Defeated / 2nd Referendum Scheduled

Notice from CBA Clerk - 5/9/2013: The proposed Clinton 2013-2014 school budget and town budget were defeated at the May 8th referendum. The school budget was defeated by a margin of 90 votes, and the town budget was defeated by a margin of 373 votes. Following the referendum, the Board of Finance voted to reduce the school budget by $49,000 and the town budget by $175,000.

A second Clinton 2013-2014 budget referendum will be held on May 22, 2013 in the Clinton Town Hall from 6 am to 8 pm. All Clinton taxpayers with property assessed at $1,000 or more are eligible to vote. It is important that you vote. Attached to this Notice is an official absentee ballot application. If you cannot vote in person, fill it out and mail it to:
